The Percy Jackson Disney Plus series’ first trailer shows us around Camp Half-Blood
Last but not least
The first peek at Disney Plus’ Percy Jackson series has arrived. The first glimpse at the relaunch emerged during Disney’s D23 2022 expo during the Disney Plus presentation. The presentation included a part with the three series leads, who were given the opportunity to take the stage and deliver the first look at the series. Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be available on Disney Plus “soon.”
The trailer begins with voiceover from Percy, performed by The Adam Project’s Walker Scolbell, explaining why being a Half-Blood, the offspring of a human father and a Greek God, is deadly. During his explanation, we witness Annabeth Chase (Leah Jeffries) and other camp guests, as well as the huts that house the children of each deity.

The Percy Jackson series was announced for May 2020, much to the delight of fans who were underwhelmed with the 2010 film adaption and its sequel. Author Rick Riordan was among many who were irritated; throughout the years, he has expressed his displeasure with the film, notably how 20th Century aged up the characters and departed from the narrative. According to his own sources, he is fully involved in all aspects of the project this time around.
The original five-book series followed demigod Percy Jackson’s travels with Annabeth Chase, Athena’s ambitious daughter, and satyr Grover. A sequel series infused the universe with aspects of Roman mythology, with several spinoff series focused on Egyptian and Norse myths.
Scobell stars as Percy, opposite Empire’s Leah Sava Jeffries and Spin’s Aryan Simhadri as Annabeth and Grover, respectively. Jason Mantzoukas plays Dionysus, Glynn Turman plays Chiron, and Virginia Kull plays Sally Jackson in the adult cast. Percy Jackson and the Olympians began filming earlier this year.
