The anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has a trailer and a release date.

Ichigo Kurosaki appears to be in better shape than ever.

On Sunday, Studio Pierrot published a new teaser for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, bringing the anime revival closer to its October release date. The new look promised Ichigo Kurosaki’s upcoming adventure, in which he would face off against the all-powerful Yhwach in the following arc. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be released on October 10th.

Based on what we know so far, Thousand-Year Blood War appears to start up after the events of the original anime and adapt the manga’s last arc for viewers.

Bleach’s manga serialization concluded in 2016 with a satisfying finale to the plot. The anime, on the other hand, terminated in the middle of the tale in 2014 with the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc. While fans are divided on the final arc on which Thousand-Year Blood War will be based, it is great to know that the popular series will finally be displayed in its entirety.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is being developed by Studio Pierrot, with director Tomohisa Taguchi (Twin Star Exorcists) and character designs by Bleach anime veteran Masashi Kudo.
