PlayStation Plus subscribers catch Hell Let Loose, Mortal Kombat X in October

PGA Tour 2K21 is also available till November 1st.

In October, PlayStation Plus users will receive free access to three games: Mortal Kombat X and PGA Tour 2K21 for PlayStation 4, and Hell Let Loose, a World War II multiplayer shooter making its platform premiere on PlayStation 5. Starting October 5, all three titles will be available for download via PS Plus.

Hell Let Loose was released in early access in June 2019 and in full on Windows PC in July. It will be available on both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X on the same day. In Hell Let Loose, participants compete in up to 50-player bouts. Each side (Germans vs. Americans or Soviets) has six-man rifle teams, three-man armor squads, or two-man recon units.

The commander job in Hell Let Loose is unusual in that a single officer leads either side and communicates with other officers via a dedicated audio channel. There’s also a strategic component influenced by RTS games, where the commander commands air strikes and oversees resource nodes built and maintained by other participants in the game.

PGA Tour 2K21 was released last summer, and we believe it is the best version of HB Studios’ golfing franchise to date. The online multiplayer package includes a rich single-player career mode and a plethora of dynamic playlists.

Mortal Kombat X need no introduction, though we will point out that it was released in 2015 (and has since been replaced by Mortal Kombat 11) and is already a part of the PlayStation Plus Collection, a catalog of 20 games offered to everybody who purchases a PlayStation 5.

PlayStation Plus members may still download September’s titles, which include Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds for the PlayStation 4, as well as Overcooked! for the PlayStation 3. All You Can Eat for PlayStation 5 is available till October 4.

The PS Plus titles for October will be available till November 1.
