In June, PlayStation Plus members will receive free access to three games: God of War, a soft reboot of Kratos’ action-adventure franchise for PlayStation 4, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4), and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (PS4) (PS4, PS5). Sony Interactive Entertainment said Wednesday that all three would be available for download through PS Plus beginning June 7.
God of War is a PlayStation 4 adventure starring Kratos and his son Atreus that transports the god-slayer to Norse mythology. The 2018 release of God of War on PlayStation Plus will be a godsend for gamers who missed the award-winning adventure the first time around, or who haven’t yet obtained a PlayStation 5 to claim it as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection. And it will help everyone prepare for the imminent release of its sequel, God of War Ragnarok, which is set to arrive later this year.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a 4v4 ninja action game set in the Naruto universe. The game was first released in 2018 by Bandai Namco. Soleil Ltd., the studio behind Ninjala and the upcoming Valkyrie Elysium, created it.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl combines SpongeBob SquarePants, Ren and Stimpy, and CatDog with characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Loud House in a combatant reminiscent of Super Smash Bros. It’s the newest game in June’s PlayStation Plus portfolio; Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will be available on several platforms in October 2021, according to publisher GameMill.
Subscribers to PlayStation Plus may still download May’s titles – FIFA 22, Curse of the Dead Gods, and Tribes of Midgard — until June 6.
Sony’s enhanced PlayStation Plus membership packages will also be available in North America in June. In addition to the Essentials tier (the version of PS Plus members have gotten accustomed to in previous years), two new, higher-priced levels will be introduced: Extra and Premium. The Extra tier will have access to hundreds of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles, while the Premium tier will include streaming PlayStation 3 games as well as a back library of PlayStation, PSP, and PlayStation 2 games.
