Genshin Impact Specter guide: Where to find Spectral Husks, Hearts, and Nucleus

Specter places where you can find ascension material

Spectral Husks, Spectral Hearts, and Spectral Nucleus are new ascension materials added by Genshin Impact. Killing Specters surrounding two islands in Inazuma will lead you to them.

SPECTER LOCATIONS

Specters may be found in both Seirai and Watatsumi Islands, particularly near the water’s edge. They usually sit in groups of three, so once you spot one, you’ll find a slew of them. The Genshin Impact Interactive World Map can show you where they are.

SPECTER DROPS

Specter drops are determined by your world level as well as the level of the Specters you combat.

• Below level 40, specters only drop The Spectral Husks
• Specters from levels 40-60 are dropped. Husks and Spectral Hearts
• Spectral Nucleus, Hearts, and Husks are dropped by Specters at level 60 or above.

If you’re having trouble getting Genshin Impact drops, you may always utilize an Alchemy Table to get greater rarity drops. Three Spectral Husks are required to create one Spectral Heart, and three Spectral Hearts are required to create a Spectral Nucleus.

SPECTER ELEMENTAL AFFINITIES

As of this writing, Specters have three elemental affinities: Geo, Anemo, and Hydro. They’re all resistant to their elements. As they absorb damage, they grow larger and stronger until they die and explode.

So far, Aloy is the only character that requires Spectral drops to climb, and The Catch is the only weapon that requires them.
