How to Hire a Fortnite Character

Fortnite allows you to hire avatars to follow you around and battle with you. To accomplish the “Employ a Character and Travel 1,000 Meters with Them” Quest in the Foundation Battle Pass Quests, you must hire a character.

We’ll tell you where to find Agent Jones, Brainiac, Cuddlepool, Galactico, Jonesy The First, Lt. John Llama, Shanta, and The Visitor — the eight Characters that may be recruited — in this guide.

FORTNITE HIRE A CHARACTER LOCATIONS

In Fortnite, you may hire eight NPC characters: Agent Jones, Brainiac, Cuddlepool, Galactico, Jonesy The First, Lt. John Llama, Shanta, and The Visitor. Agent Jones, one of them, has a chance to spawn at four distinct locations – four Seven Outposts in the island’s four corners.

To hire one of them, approach them and speak with them. A person-like silhouette with a plus sign will be one of the symbols on the dialogue wheel. Choose that one and give me 95 gold bars. They’ll equip a gun and begin following and battling alongside you.
