Every new movie and show coming to Disney Plus in October

Look, a werewolf! (By night!)

Disney Plus started in 2019 with the majority of Disney’s back catalog, however the platform has yet to achieve its full capacity. In addition to original programming, such as the presently showing Andor series, Disney Plus offers a slew of classic movies and episodes each month.

This October, MCU fans will be treated to Werewolf by Night, a black-and-white tribute to classic horror flicks that looks like the kind of cool experimental distraction Disney Plus was designed for. The Mysterious Benedict Society returns for a second season, as does the animated Star Wars shorts collection Tales of the Jedi. Those who enjoy short-lived superhero cartoons will be pleased to know that episodes of MTV’s strange-yet-fascinating Spider-Man: The New Animated Series have finally arrived on the streamer.

Dancing with the Stars Episode 3 (Live)

Dancing with the Stars is a hit Disney television show hosted by supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks and actor and television personality Alfonso Ribeiro in which celebrities are paired with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.

Shipwreck Hunters Australia Season 1

In each episode, the team goes on an adventurous trip to a distant site off Western Australia’s enormous coast. The goal is to unearth long-forgotten shipwreck secrets in the hopes of making some world-first discoveries. More than that, the voyages are about the unusual fauna that lives in Western Australia’s seas and the breathtaking landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Shipwreck Hunters Australia is an exciting trip into the enigmatic past guided by modern-day ocean explorers.

Andor Episode 5

From Disney: The Andor series will take a fresh look at the Star Wars universe, focused on Cassian Andor’s journey to learn how he can make a difference. The series tells the story of the Empire’s budding revolt and how people and worlds became engaged. It’s a time of peril, deception, and intrigue, and Cassian is about to go on a journey that will turn him into a rebel hero.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Episode 202 “Out of Bounds”

Training begins at EPIC, where cutting-edge technology meets physical training and mental conditioning to push campers to their limits. Evan is all in and anxious to prove himself to Coach Cole, whilst Sofi may choose a different path. Alex wants to add some summer fun to the mix and competes with Cole over his program. Nick, who is overwhelmed, begins to wonder about his future here.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 8

Disney says: Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), an attorney specialized in superhuman-related legal issues in Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, must negotiate the tangled life of a single 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry, star in the nine-episode comedy series. Kat Coiro (Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9) and Anu Valia (Episodes 5, 6, 7) direct the series, with Jessica Gao serving as chief writer.She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on August 18, 2022, with executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Coiro, and Gao.

Werewolf by Night

Disney says: Following the death of their leader, a hidden cabal of monster hunters emerges from the shadows and gathers in the scary Bloodstone Temple on a dark and dismal night. The guests are thrown into a mystery and deadly quest for a powerful artifact in a weird and gruesome monument to the leader’s life—a search that will eventually bring them face to face with a frightening monster. The unsettling episode, inspired by horror films from the 1930s and 1940s, intends to invoke dread and the macabre, with plenty of tension and horrors along the way as we explore a new area of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Premiere (all shorts streaming)

Six brand-new animated shorts based on Jedi tales from the prequel period from Disney. Sumo Do, Sumo Don’t two-episode premiere

Disney says: Ryota Moriyama, a senior at Kyoritsu University, is offered a job at a prestigious corporation but is rejected by Saki Nishino. His professor assures him that if he joins the sumo club and competes in at least one match, he will be able to graduate. For the past two years, the sumo club has been run down by a single member, Honoka Oba. To graduate, Ryota must withstand Honoka’s rigorous training techniques and begin recruiting new members.
