Another 30 characters will be added to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Please, Lego, bring Weird Al to Lego. The Star Wars franchise

The Galactic Edition of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released in November, but the bigger news is the addition of 30 new playable Star Wars characters, including Cassian Andor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (and Star Wars: Andor), Reva from Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Captain Rex from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

These three characters are just a few of the new additions to the Character Collection 2’s six new packs. Characters from the Star Wars series Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Book of Boba Fett will be included in the new collection, as well as the Lego Star Wars Summer Vacation TV special. Given that the Disney Plus summer-themed special introduced “Weird Al” Yankovic to the Star Wars world, let’s hope the new character choices in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are as bizarre.

The rerelease of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition will feature the original game, which encompasses the nine numbered Star Wars films, as well as 13 character packs. This contains both the original seven character packs and the half-dozen updated packs. For November 1, the Galactic Edition will be available digitally for $79.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, as well as $69.99 on Windows PC.

Character Collection 1 and 2 will be offered in a bundle for $24.99, and each collection will be sold separately for $14.99. Individual character packs will also be available for $2.99 each.

In April, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released. We described the game as “a nostalgic journey, riffing not just on the movies that inspired it, but the Lego Star Wars franchise itself” in our Warside review.
